Featherweight champion Conor McGregor’s views on the WWE, have been made quite clear at this stage. His call out of pretty much the entire organisation’s roster a few weeks back resulted in him getting threatened by a large portion of them via Twitter, in the days that followed.
UFC 203 took place last night in the Quickens Loan Arena in Cleveland and coming out of that event the story that garnered the most attention was the MMA debut of former WWE superstar Phil “CM Punk” Brooks.
After two years of training with Duke Roufus at RoufusSport, Punk stepped in to take on young prospect Mickey Gall and as soon as the round began the skill-difference was clear. Punk was swiftly taken down, beaten and finished with a submission.
Now, in the aftermath of the loss, McGregor, when speaking to TMZ Sport gave his thoughts on the loss and displayed some respect for the defeated Punk, just before talking himself up in true-McGregor fashion.
