‘Chopper' Chi Lewis-Parry is not known as a person who likes to mince his words. His brash and bold style make him a huge draw in the Heavyweight Division, and there is never a dull moment when it comes to discussing the subject of fighting with the ‘Chopper’.

BAMMA.com got to exclusively sit down with Chi before his Co-Main event fight was announced against Lukasz ‘The Punisher' Parobiec at BAMMA Fight Night London on June 28th.

Lukasz ‘The Punisher' Parobiec. He's been known to upset the odds time and time again. Does this come into your planning for this bout at all?

The only thing he's gonna upset is his missus, when he comes home a loser.

Parobiec is tough opposition, he will likely be coming to bring you a war. Is this something you relish?

War?? Dont make me laugh…next.

So your debut at SSE Wembley didn't go to plan, now you've had time to reflect on the fight what are your thoughts?

It was a nightmare, but I'm used to having them so it's all good. The rules were used by my opponent to cheat his way out of an ass whooping. It is what it is. If you know you KNOW.

Would you like that rematch?

Nah. Im over it.

You have the reputation of being the bad boy of MMA. Is this unfair or do you embrace this sort of thing?

Bad boy?! Really? I think I'm quite a nice chap. I just say what I think so I guess that can rub people up the wrong way. TBH I couldn't give a toss either way. I'm just doing me.

You are never short of a word or two for your opponents. It's almost as much as a trademark for you as the bad boy image, so do you enjoy engaging in a war of words with opponents as much as you do the physical side of the sport?

I never really feel like its a war of words as such. These guys aren't on the ball most of them. They're about as sharp as a Beagles bol**cks!

Finally, if you get past Lukasz what future plans do you have for the BAMMA Heavyweight division and who would be next on your list?

Honestly mate, f**k everyone! I've had enough of the nonsnse and believe me there's been a lot of it! F**k the other Heavyweights, f**k the division and whoever ain't on the team! I'm here calling names and everybody is acting like they've all got headphones on.

‘Chopper' Chi Lewis-Parry faces Lukasz ‘The Punisher' Parobiec in the Co-Main event of BAMMA FIght Night and you can watch live on ITV4, June 28th.

BAMMA Fight Night London: McKee Vs. Brazier takes place on Thursday 28th June at York Hall, London. Tickets are on sale now from Ticketmaster and bamma.com

[London 18.06.18] BAMMA today announce two more electric bouts to be added to the BAMMA FIght Night London: McKee Vs. Brazier fightcard, including the Heavyewight co-main event that pits ‘Chopper’ Chi Lewis-Parry against ‘The Punisher’ Lukasz Parobiec in a bone crunching number one contenders bout.

After his debut outing at the SSE Arena, Wembley, Chi Lewis-Parry has been seeking an immediate match up after the bout ended in a No Contest against the ‘Crazy Bear’ Stav Economou. He now faces the dangerous and unpredictable Lukasz ‘The Punisher’ Parobiec in a co main event that will determine who the number one contender to the BAMMA Heavyweight Title is. Parry is on a mission though, as he has sights set on winning BAMMA Gold and nothing and no one is going to get in the way of ‘Chopper’ achieving his ultimate goal.

In what is guaranteed to be an electric paced affair, Featherweights Elliot ‘Toyboy' Hoye and Adrian Molenda match up at the York Hall event. With Daniel Barez on top of the division, these two young upstarts could put themselves on the road to a potential title shot with a strong performance and big win on 28th June.

Fighters from 8 European countries met in Antwerp’s Lotto Arena for CW94 tonight, a truly memorable event which further solidified Cage Warriors claim as the ultimate proving ground for the most legitimate fighting talent on the continent.

In the CW94 main event, Ilia Topuria took less than a round to submit Belgium’s Brian Bouland with one of the most impressive technical submissions of the year so far. Topuria, from Georgia, seemed entirely unaffected by taunts of the Belgian crowds as he went 6-0 and kept his 100% finish rate intact.

Local fan favourite Jan Quaeyhaegens welcomed Ireland’s Phil Mulpeter to Antwerp with a back-and-forth 3 round main card opener, ending with a technical submission victory for Mulpeter. A seriously impressive end to a fight which not only showcased Mulpeter’s willingness to establish himself as a Cage Warriors welterweight contender once again, but Quaeyhaegens’ sheer determination and ability to hang with legit experience.

Second up was a one-round lightweight war between Hubert Geven and Donovan Desmae that had the entire Lotto Arena on their feet. After 5 minutes of insane action, referee Leon Roberts was forced to stop the contest between rounds due to an eye injury sustained by Desmae. A striking war for the ages that’s had plenty of fans calling for a repeat as soon as possible.

Sameer Alekozai and Krzysztof Klaczek, two of the best wrestlers in Europe, met in the featherweight division next in a scramble for dominant position that lasted the full 3 rounds. Klaczek edged a unanimous decision in an away win that proved he’s a serious problem for anyone at 145lbs. In the CW94 co-main event, exciting U.K prospect Jai Herbert was victorious in his Cage Warriors debut after a superbly matched lightweight contest with Belgium’s Erdi Karatas, which saw both men threaten in deadly striking and grappling exchanges til the final bell.

Stand outs from the pro prelims included a brutal liver kick TKO victory for Italy’s Angelo Rubino, and a hard fought win for U.K prospect Cory McKenna after 3 tough rounds with Eva Dourthe.

Cage Warriors’ next outing sees the promotion hit London’s Indigo at the O2 Arena for

Right weight, right time – Eye back to 125 pounds

The topic is the four-fight losing streak Jessica Eye endured in her final days in the bantamweight division. The response from Cleveland’s Eye is immediate and to the point.

“I don't know who that is,” she said. “I left that girl behind. This is who they've been waiting on and I don't identify myself with that girl. They can just let her go.”

She means it, and no one could blame her. Now back competing in the flyweight division where she first made her name in MMA, Eye has moved on from those days, even though they do remain a part of her story.

For context, Eye’s first 11 pro fights were fought in and around the 125-pound weight class, and she won 10 of those 11 fights. Unfortunately, the UFC didn’t have a women’s flyweight division, so Eye had a problem.

CW94 weigh in results

Cage Warriors Staff

Fighters took to the scales at the Iso Sport weigh ins for CW94 this afternoon in Antwerp, an event which will see Brian Bouland fight to become Belgium’s first ever Cage Warriors champion.

CW94’s main event will see Bouland’s one punch knockout power come up against Topuria’s ground game, a skillset which has seen him remain undefeated with a 100% finish rate since his debut. The Belgian’s title reign was made official, with Bouland coming in at 134.4 lbs. Topuria failed to make weight, meaning that the belt will remain vacant should he win tomorrow night.

In a breaking news announcement earlier today, Cage Warriors confirmed that Welsh bantamweight Jack Shore will fight for the title at CW97 on September 29th at the Ice Arena Wales in Cardiff. The stakes have been raised – there’s now 3 men mixed up in tomorrow night’s main event. Should Brian Bouland win the title, he’ll face Shore at CW97 in the first defence of his belt. Tune in to the CW94 main card from 8pm BST/ 9pm CET on BT Sport 1 and UFC Fight Pass to see how this one ends!

In the co-main event, U.K prospect Jai Herbert (155.6 lbs) takes on Belgium’s Erdi Karatas (154.2 lbs) in the biggest fights of their careers to date. Herbert’s lightning-fast striking skills have made him a fan favourite on the U.K scene, but Karatas’ 4-fight win streak proves he’ll have more than enough to contend with at the Lotto Arena tomorrow night.

Elsewhere on the main card, Donovan Desmae (154.2 lbs) and Hubert Geven (154.4 lbs) meet for the chance to move one step closer to the top of the lightweight rankings – perhaps the most stacked and exciting division in Cage Warriors right now.

Sameer Alekozai (144 lbs) and Krzysztof Klaczek (145.9 lbs) will meet in the featherweight division, after Antwerp native Jan Quaeyhaegens (169 lbs) puts his punching power to the test against Ireland’s Phil Mulpeter (169.7 lbs), an experienced Welterweight and training partner of world superstar and ex-Cage Warriors champion Conor McGregor.

CW94’s Main Card (8pm BST/ 9pm CET) will be broadcast live on BT Sport 1, UFC FightPass and Cage Warriors’ Official partner Eleven Sports Network in Belgium and across Europe. The Pro Prelims (6pm BST/ 7pm CET) will be LIVE and FREE via the Cage Warriors Facebook page (UK/Ire).

In what is being dubbed the ‘Battle of the Pretty Ones’, Mike ‘Pretty Boy' Hales takes on the flamboyant US ‘Pretty Boy' Anthony Taylor at BAMMA 36 on June 28th . The undefeated Hales makes his promotional debut,
whilst Taylor makes his return to BAMMA after his own successful debut last month in Dublin. Looking to build on his winning start, the outspoken American once more promises to dazzle with an unforgettable
entrance and a performance to match.

Meanwhile, Hales will be out to show BAMMA’s Featherweight division theskills that he brings to the table, whilst ensuring that victory goes to the UK.

The war of words has already begun as both fighters had something to say about their upcoming fight at York Hall on the 28th June…

“I don't know what kind of pretty he thinks he is, because it's definitely not his fighting style.  That's just plain ugly and I'm going to put an end to it on June 28th! “Mike ‘Pretty Boy' Hales

“I’m back! But what I hear is an imposter from England is acting as the Pretty Boy. I look at myself and it's like no way, I'm the real Pretty Boy. Mike Hales is going down and guess what, I'm stripping that
name from him with my own hands.  This is the BATTLE of the century and the first ever Pretty Boys face off, things are going to get wild

Demolition Derby

**This post was automatically retrieved from the BAMMA.com RSS Feed**

Following the news that David ‘Demolition Man' Khalsa has extended his contract with the promotion, BAMMA officially announce his battle with John Nicholls at BAMMA Fight Night London: McKee Vs. Brazier.

Fast becoming a fan favourite with his high velocity and aggressive fighting style, bamma.com got the opportunity to sit down with the Demolition Man to discover what plans he has in place now he that he has once again committed his fighting future to BAMMA.

How does it feel to be extending your contract with BAMMA and why did you choose BAMMA over other promotions?

It feels great to be signing with BAMMA, they gave me some great opportunities last year, so it was the obvious choice to stay with them to progress my career.

You've already got your next bout lined up against John Nicholls. Any initial thoughts on how that will go down on the 28th June?

I think it's a great match up for me. I've fought two of his stablemates, so our teams know each other well which will definitely make it interesting. I'm really looking forward to it!

So far you have banked wins over the highly rated Cian Cowley and Charlie-Boy Howard, are there any other names out there in the Featherweight division you'd like to take on?

People know me, I don't pick or call out opponents. I fight whoever BAMMA put in front of me. I just want that title shot, so whoever and wherever, bring them on!

What's your usual training regime for a fight and how will it differ this time?

My usual training regime is 12 weeks, 4 sessions a day and 6 days a week. Starting steady and ramping it up week by week. However, because of the short time scale for this camp, we've hit the ground running and ramped things straight up! I've been able to do a lot of stuff in this camp which I haven't been able to do most of last year because of different injuries – it's all coming together nicely.

You've recently started additionally training with Trojan Fighters, how have they improved your fight game?

It's been great training with new people and also doing more BJJ which I'm really enjoying. I'm learning new skills from new people, as well as training with my team at RPMAA. I think it's definitely going to help my overall fight game.

Any prediction for your fight at York Hall and do you want to send a message to John Nicholls?

I'm hungier than ever, there's only one outcome of this fight and that's me getting my hand raised and performing a full Demolition Derby job on John Nicholls.

And before we left, some final words from the ‘Demolition Man’ himself……

Thanks BAMMA and to all my sponsors and the whole of ‘Team Khalsa' #Let'sGo
