Here are a few fights to make after last nights UFC Fight Night: Rodríguez vs. Caceres

Jeremy Stephens VS Yair Rodríguez

Both are coming off of big wins in their careers. Although Yair's win last night against Alex Caceres was more sizzle than steak, he still won a Main Event fight on a big stage. At this point in his career, that is important. Stephens is a grizzled veteran and a well established name and would provide the type of stern test that the young Rodríguez needs to pass, in order to enter the upper echelon of a talent rich division. Stephens on the other hand could use the young talent as a stepping stone to head toward title contention.

Alex Caceres VS Cub Swanson

Cub won his fight last night against Tatsuya Kawajiri making it two in a row. Although Alex lost his fight last night, he has won two of his last three and is still looking like a changed fighter. Both of these guys need a quality win and would provide each other a perfect stand up battle to showcase their respective skills. This one would be fireworks from start to finish.

Dennis Bermudez VS Doo Ho Choi

After a two fight skid Dennis has reemerged as one of the top Featherweights in the world, with two impressive wins in a row. Although he called out Frankie Edgar after his win last night, I just don't see him getting in there with the #3 ranked guy in the world. A fight against the young phenom Doo Ho Choi however, is a more viable option. “The Korean Superboy” has dispatched all three of his UFC opponents in the first round and will look for a bigger name in his next trip to the cage. These guys are sure to turn it up if they meet and would provide a definite Fight Of The Night.

Maryna Moroz VS Carla Esparsa

Maryna won last night in unspectacular fashion landing a whopping 17 of 251 strikes. This was not all her fault, as Danielle Taylor was not so eager to engage. Maryna asked to fight Carla next and I think it would be a good test for her. The ‘Cookie Monster' will get in her face and work takedowns as well, so there would be no chance of another boring fight out of Moroz.

Justin Ledet and Chase Sherman VS The Unemployment Line

These guys really showed they do not belong in the big show. UFC has some promising young Heavyweight prospects at the moment, unfortunately for Fight Pass viewers Ledet and Sherman are not two of them. This fight was disgraceful and boring and was a terrible way to start off a lower tier show. Hopefully we have seen the last of these two guys in the octagon. The UFC really needs a resurgence in an aging Heavyweight division, but lets go in a different direction, Please! Maybe Bellator or World Series Of Fighting is hiring.
